ASRock 2Core1066-2.13G Motherboard User Manual
This motherboard supports Untied Overclocking Technology, which means during overclocking, FSB enjoys better margin due to fixed PCI / PCIE buses. Before you enable Untied Overclocking function, please enter “Overclock Mode” option of BIOS setup to set the selection from [Auto] to [CPU, PCIE, Async.]. Therefore, CPU FSB is untied during overclocking, but PCI / PCIE buses are in the fixed mode so that FSB can operate under a more stable overclocking environment.
CPU Installation:This motherboard is bundled with one selected Dual Core CPU operating at FSB1066 / 2.13GHz. Please do not remove ASRock CPU stickers on both sides of CPU socket on this motherboard. No-Execute Memory Protection:No-Execution (NX) Memory Protection Technology is an enhancement to the IA-32 Intel Architecture. An IA-32 processor with “No Execute (NX) Memory Protection” can prevent data pages from being used by malicious software to execute code. This option will be hidden if the current CPU does not support No-Execute Memory Protection.
