The Identification of The Volkswagen Bora 1.61. Petrol Engine The ZI transmission uses a VanDoornes V-belt CVT as transmission. The multipoint fuel injection uses separate injectors to inject the fuel directly through the intake valve at each individual cylinder. Because of the haze of fuel and the separate injection for each cylinder on a relatively hot intake valve it is not necessary to pre-heat the fuel.
