Genius ColorPage-vivid scanner
This scanner connects to the computer via a universal serial bus (USB) that supports Hot Plug and Play. To determine whether your computer is USB option, you should check the back of your computer to find the USB Jack, which looks the same as the one pictured below. Note that some computers USB port on the rear of the computer can be occupied and additional ports can be found on the monitor or keyboard. If you are having trouble finding the USB port on your computer, please consult the manual for hardware that came with your computer.

If the installation of the scanner is not running and automatically displayed on the screen, click Start, click Run and type in "d:install" (where d: is the drive letter assigned to the CD-ROM drive of your computer)


Uninstalling the scannerWindows XP/Me/2000/98 provides uninstall wizard to uninstall your scanner software drivers and programs: Uninstall from the start menu (uninstall wizard) From the Windows Start menu, select programs and then the name of the model of scanner you installed from the drop-down menu, select Uninstall. A window will pop, asking you to confirm the deletion of the selected application and all its components. Click OK and the program to uninstall screen will be implemented automatically and delete scanner driver software. After restart Windows


Your scanner must be driven by some kind of software program. Of all documents or images (whether text or pictures) that were acquired by the scanner, are treated by your computer, such as images, scanning will most likely be made by editing the image program, where you can view, edit, save, and scanned images of the production. Image editing program was bundled with your scanner, the Setup/application CD-ROM. it will allow you to change and correct all scanned images using the various filters, tools and effects.
